The Malaysian Society of Applied Biology (MSAB) was founded in 1977 with the purpose of promoting the study of Biology and Applied Biology through research and education. To date, MSAB has more than 250 members from various background including students, researchers, and industry players. The society actively organizes various events to promote the application of biological knowledge, including workshops, seminars, and conferences. Â Further, MSAB also publishes the open access Malaysian Applied Biology journal since its inception to disseminate knowledge and develop the field of Applied Biology in Malaysia.
